It’s hard NOT to compare yourself with other people when your newsfeed is filled with their highlights.
I get it–I’ve gotten stuck there many times. There’s always someone who seems to be a better mom, has a more successful career, or the perfect husband. On social media, people show you what they want you to see. And it’s also more fun to share the end result as opposed to the struggles, the sleepless nights, and the failures that preceded it.
So, the next time you’re scrolling through Facebook and Instagram, remember this: no one has your talents, your gifts, or your story. Your path is yours, and there’s only one you. Don’t let the world miss out on all of that because you think you can’t compete.
Blessings, love, & Light,
